Biodiesel & Beyond

Biodiesel

Biodiesel is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional diesel fuel that is produced from renewable biological sources such as vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled greases. This clean-burning fuel comprises long-chain fatty acid esters, which are derived from fats and oils through a process called transesterification. In essence, biodiesel is a sustainable solution that helps reduce our dependence on fossil fuels while minimizing the negative impact on the environment.

Glycerol

High-Quality Glycerol is a clear, odorless liquid that is primarily made from vegetable oils such as soy, palm, and coconut oils. It has a sweet taste and is used as a food additive (E 422). The chemical formula of glycerol is C3H8O3. Refined glycerol is obtained after undergoing purification processes, including distillation

We ensure full compliance with environmental and safety standards while providing guidance and assistance to clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks for biodiesel usage.

Glycerol is used in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, toothpaste, and cosmetics, which accounts for approximately 28% of the market. Tobacco industry accounts for 15%, followed by foodstuffs at 13%, and the manufacture of urethanes at 11%. The remaining amount is utilized in the production of lacquers, varnishes, inks, adhesives, synthetic plastics, regenerated cellulose, explosives, and other miscellaneous industrial uses. Moreover, glycerol is increasingly being used as a substitute for propylene glycol.

Gycerol Versatility Solution

The versatility of glycerol is truly remarkable. It dissolves fully in water and alcohol, and even in some common solvents. Its unique properties make it a valuable chemical that has endless potential.
